Unovo Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website unovo.io to keep it working, to understand how it is used, and to know how people found us.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our privacy policy.

02What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, store preferences, and enhance functionality.

Cookies can be:

• Session cookies, deleted when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted.
• First-party cookies, set by our website.
• Third-party cookies, set by services we use.

The law that applies here covers anything stored on your device, not only cookies. So this policy also covers the other kinds of storage we use, and they are treated the same way.

03The cookies we use

There are two groups. The first is required for the site to work at all. The second only ever runs if you have accepted it.

aStrictly necessary

These are needed for the website to function and cannot be turned off. There are very few of them and none is used to build a profile of you.

• A cookie recording your cookie choices, so that we can honour them. Remembering “no” is required in order to act on “no”, which is why this one needs no consent of its own.
• Session and security identifiers, where a page needs them.
• If you arrive from a campaign link, your browser holds that detail until you close the tab. If you then send us an enquiry it is recorded with your message so we know how you found us. It is not shared with anyone else and is not used to track you across other sites.

bAnalytics

These help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are read and where people give up. The information is aggregated and we cannot identify you from it. Nothing in this group loads unless you accept analytics in the banner, and choosing to reject it means the tools are never requested at all rather than loaded and told to behave.

• Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gat), which counts visits and page views.
• Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used so we can see where a layout is failing.

04What we do not use

It is worth being specific, because most cookie policies are not:

• We do not run advertising or remarketing cookies on this website.
• We do not track you across other websites, and we do not buy or sell audience data.
• We do not sell or pass your personal data to anybody for their own marketing.

If that changes, the consent record is versioned. Bumping the version means every visitor is asked again rather than a new category being quietly covered by an old answer.

05Third-party cookies

Some of what we use is run by other companies, and those companies set their own cookies under their own policies. We have no control over what they store, so it is worth reading theirs if you want the detail.

The third parties that can set cookies here are:

• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and only if you have accepted analytics.
• Our booking tool, where a page offers you a time in the calendar. Its cookies are set only if you open that booking window.

Who else processes your data, on what lawful basis, and for how long, is a separate question and is covered in our privacy policy.

06Managing cookies

When you first visit our website you will see a banner giving you the choice to accept all cookies, reject everything non-essential, or set your own preferences.

You can change that answer at any time using Cookie preferences at the foot of any page. Withdrawing consent is deliberately as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.
